Three FHSU profs at Mid-America Conference on History

HAYS, KS -- Three Fort Hays State University history professors recently attended the Mid-America Conference on History at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK.

Dr. David Goodlett, assistant professor of history, presented his paper "Riding the Tiger of Communist Unemployment: Tito and Worker Emigration from Yugoslavia, 1963-1973."

Dr. Robert Rook, chair of the Department of History, presented his paper "Water, Race, and the American Century: The Tennessee Valley Authority's International Visitor's Center."

Dr. Raymond Wilson, professor of history, chaired the panel and offered commentary on "The Other Eastmans: John and Elaine Goodale Eastman." The chair's responsibility includes introducing speakers and commenting on their papers.
