HAYS, KS -- Several Fort Hays State University employees attended the ninth annual Kansas Academic Advising Network conference at Johnson Community College in Overland Park on Sept. 7.
FHSU faculty and staff included Jolene Briggs, coordinator for Interdisciplinary Studies; Maggie Denning, coordinator of academic success programs; Dr. Patty Griffin, director of academic advising and current chairman of KAAN; Kenton Olliff, coordinator of services for students with disabilities; Carol Solko, coordinator of international student services; and Debbie Staab, degree analyst.
At the conference, Briggs and Staab presented "Distance Education: Achieving the Degree and Griffin presented "Advising Evaluation: Creating Your Own Campus-wide Instrument."
