HAYS, KS -- Members of the Central Kansas Alumni Club will host its annual fall gathering for Fort Hays State University alumni and friends on Saturday, Oct. 27, at Golden Belt Country Club, Great Bend.
The social begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. Featured speakers include President Edward H. Hammond, who will provide a university update, and Dr. Chris Crawford, associate professor of leadership studies and director of the Master of Liberal Studies Program, who will discuss the state of academics.
Other university guests planning to attend are Annette Wiles, head women's basketball coach; Mark Johnson, head men's basketball coach; and Debra Prideaux, executive director of alumni and governmental relations.
