FHSU Art Department to conduct two workshops

HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Art Department will conduct a workshop on wheel throwing, Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the ceramics lab in Rarick Hall, room 123.

The workshop will include Bill Forst, a ceramics teacher from Barton County Community College. Forst will share his slides and wheel throwing techniques.

On Monday, Oct. 22, at 5 p.m., Teresa Preston, art instructor from Hutchinson Community College, will speak on her recent trip to Africa. Preston will focus on her experiences in pottery, jewelry and bronze casting.
