Annual Student Scholarship Sale to benefit scholarships, victims of terrorist attacks

HAYS, KS -- In conjunction with Tiger Friends and Family Day, Fort Hays State University's Art Department will have its annual student scholarship art sale on Saturday, Oct. 20.

Past and present faculty, students and alumni will donate art work featuring designer items such as jewelry, sculptures, photography, ceramics, paintings and fine art prints. Many of the artists are nationally and internationally known.

The sale benefits the art general scholarship fund, but this year a portion of the proceeds will provide relief for the terrorist attack victims and their families.

The sale will take place in the first-floor hallway of Rarick Hall from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
