HAYS, KS -- Approximately 1,500 students from 70 schools will exhibit their art work Wednesday, April 17, at the 28th Annual High School Art Exhibition in Gross Memorial Coliseum at Fort Hays State University.
The exhibit is sponsored by the university's Department of Art. Gordon Sherman, assistant professor of art, is director of the exhibition.
This year's judge is Brenda Meder, executive director of the Hays Arts Council. Certificates of recognition will be given to students with outstanding art.
The public is invited to view the exhibit from 10 a.m. until noon, free of charge.
